The more i continue to read this book about the murder of a young girl named Susie, i realized that every day young, innocent children are kidnapped, raped and sometimes even killed by people who might seem harmless. Every day i continue reading on about Susie's view from heaven and how Mr.Harvey(her murderer)- is convincing everyone that he is an innocent widow, and the mor ei read the more i realize that we never really do know people and we shouldn't trust or confide in people that we are not sure we know a lot about.
So far, not much evidence has been found to know who the murderer is. Yet, i predict that Susie's father is getting more and more suspicious of his neighbor Mr.Harvey due to the fact that he was lying to police about his dead wife.

After reading this amazinginterview about another novel that Alice Sebold had written called The Almost Moon- i noticed that she is an amzing writer that seems to have very unique, creative themes in her novels. For example, in this new book she wrote about a girl who murdered her mother. Although i would like to know where she comes up with these topics- i think she writes great books that captivate the readers attention and gets them thinking.

This book sounds interesting. So its about a girl thats killed and shes looking down from heaven while her father tries to find the murderer?
I dunno I think thats what it is. Sounds very suspenseful and scary. It seems interesting. Umm.. maybe ill read it. Sometime in life if im not killed like the nevermind i wont say this its bad anyway and this is serious right?
haha i was about to say like this girl but thats bad i think. Nice blog it makes me want to read this book sometime
oooohhh. this sorta reminds me of health class, how people seem really innocent but they actually can be really dangerous and they just gain ur trust to take advantage of you.
this book sounds really cool. intriguing....hmm
i loveeeeee your blog :DD
hmmmn...murder, lies, victims. Creeeeepy. This book sounds very realistic ans kind of depressing. Don't get too depressed alright. Juuuuust kidding, I know you won't.
hehe! keep reading! =D
Ohh. I read this book, and I loved it. It's a book that shows how life goes on, even when bad things happen. I found it really sad how Susie died, and how cruel Mr.Harvey was, but I really loved how Susie's father was so determined to find out how Susie's murderer was.
I'd love to say more, but I don't want to spoil the ending!
Wow. sounds like a strong book. yeah i think about how so many people these days get raped and killed. it's horrible.well the father sounds determind and i would be happy if my dad was like that. maybe ill think about reading that book.
Sounds like an interesting book and a very dramatic one because all ideas are probably around this one girl dying. Also I think its great that you talk about rape and murder because this is not just in books it in real books to.
Wow, seems kind of scary, but very interesting. I guess it is true that innocent looking people can also be dangerous, and that everyone can end up taking advantage of you. Nice blog.
